Dear Prayer Partner
The year so far has been a busy one for us as a choir, but we give praise and thanks to our great God for the blessings we have enjoyed. It has been good to be able to sing of His goodness and of His love for lost mankind. Please continue to pray for us as we continue to present Christ at more venues in the remainder of the year.
Why do we sing about Jesus? Simply because He gave His life for us, to pay a debt we could never repay. A story is told of a generous doctor. After his death his books were examined by the executor of his will. The depth of his generosity was shown in that he had written over a large number of unpaid accounts, “Forgive. Too poor to pay.” This is what Jesus did for all who confess their sins and humbly ask Him to forgive them. And that’s what we want to proclaim as far, and as wide, as we possibly can.
We are grateful for our faithful band of Prayer Partners who commit our presentations of the gospel message to the Lord in their prayers. Please continue to uphold us. God answers prayer. May we ask you to pray specifically for each engagement? We’re not interested in entertaining people, although we certainly hope that they will enjoy what we sing. Our purpose is to use our music as the vehicle with which to carry the good news of Jesus to as many people as we can. You are an important part of that process. Please keep this letter and list of engagements in your Bible so that you can pray for us.

Prayer Points:

• Please pray that its production of our new CD will go smoothly.
• Thank God for the many opportunities we have to present Christ in song.
• Pray for us as we practice each week that we will be faithful and consistent in attendance.
• Pray that the Holy Spirit will open many hearts to the Gospel message.
• Ask the Lord to grant us safety in travel.
• Give thanks to God for our accompanists them and ask the Lord to help them to keep the commitment they have made to our work.
• Pray for our Choir Committee and Music Committee as they do the important administration work of the Choir.
• Our Secretary - David Gordon, Chairman - Bob Nance, and Conductor - Gordon Cooke all have many demands on their time. Pray that God will give them grace, skill, and His special touch in their vital work.
• Each choir man needs to learn new songs. Some of these songs, while being lovely music, can be demanding to learn and express musically. Please pray that the Lord will help us in this.
• Give thanks for new members who have joined us in recent years, and ask God to give us more - This is an important need.
• Give thanks for the various people who help in many ways behind the scenes. They do it willingly and without fanfare. Their contribution is so important to the smooth running of the Choir.

Once again we thank you for sharing with us in prayer.
